PEER REVIEW AND PUBLICATION POLICY

‘Hans Shodh Sudha’ (HSS) is a multidisciplinary journal with quarterly periodicity. Its review policy aims to publish good scholarly articles and set high standard practice of research writing. The editor and associate editors of HSS do the first check on the submitted article to ensure that it satisfies the quality and is within the scope of the journal. To sustain a fine quality publication, all proposals undergo a review process. The main features of the peer review process are as below:

. The submitted manuscripts are examined for plagiarism with the help of Plagiarism Detection Software.

. If found suitable then the selected manuscript is forwarded to reviewers.

. HSS operates a double blind review process in which the authors are anonymous to reviewers and vice versa.

. Editors reserve the rights to may include more than two reviewers for a manuscript whenever needed.

. The submitted manuscripts are examined by the reviewers for accuracy, validity of the research methodology and procedures.

. As per reviewer observations and suggestions, editors take the call to accept, reject or sent the manuscript for revision.

. Peer review process is confidential and identities of reviewers cannot be revealed.

. The accepted manuscripts are then freely available online on journal website. Its review policy is solely objective with vision to publish good scholarly articles and set high standard practice of research writing.

Publication Policy

Submissions of the same manuscript to different journals will not be accepted. The decision about the time of publication will be taken by the Editor in consultation with the editorial board. Editor is responsible for the decision to reject or recommend the manuscript for publication. After acceptance, the final article is available online in the next coming issue of the journal.

Copyright

Submission of a manuscript implies that the work has not been published before, and that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Acceptance of a manuscript will automatically transfer all copyrights of the manuscript to store, publish, distribute, access, and make commercial use of the article.
